Seismic Sensors & Asset Protection
Seismic sensors aims to protect buried assets and sensitive structures from unwanted threats.
Under and Ground Seismic sensors are a self-contained units sealed in anti-corrosion containers. They are made from of Geophones that detect vibrations created by any type of soil penetration/excavation whether by hand or machine. They are invisible to the eye and buried in locations hard to pin point. They process the vibrations and send signals to the control room of the location and distance of the intrusion along the asset structures within a predefined protected areas. The processing units of the sensors compares incoming signals with a data base of recognized seismic activities in order to achieve a 99% accurate information and a very low false alarms.
Most seismic sensors are powered by a minimum of a five year lithium batteries.
Sensors are placed within ten meters of the protected structure.
